Current Status:

Recently the contractor has been cutting soil cement in the Southern Blvd. and the 'black' you see on the roadway is a tack coat, prior to interlayer and asphalt placement. This signals a big step forward in the roadway construction.

Bridge construction is nearing completion of the critical structural elements (bridge deck), and completed a part of the approach slab installation.
Whats next?:

In the coming week (or two) the contractor should install the interlayer and then the asphalt paving to shift traffic and begin work on the northern boulevard along existing Cook Road.

As the bridge gets completed (structurally), we will expect to see the contractor begin using it, and possibly removing the 'low-water crossing' seen within Gray's Creek.
